Image Description: Woven wool tapestry hanging from white loops on a wood branch against a gray-pink wall. Various shades of green and intermittent variegated pink flow evenly for the top third of the piece. The centre features a 3D row of fluffy dark green wool, underneath of which is a prism shaped insert with red, green, pink, blue, yellow, and brown wool. Below that, bands of variegated wool in blue, black, purple, pink and red flow horizontally. The bottom of the piece fades into flat green similar to the top and is finished with a trip of green and black tassels that hang down.

Mixed media quilt, wholecloth and appliqué. Image Description: The background is dark green with small yellow spots approx 4x4 feet. Scattered across the green are small irregular shapes in yellow, green, pink, blue, kente cloth. Along the bottom is a trim of thick brown ribbon embellished with a pattern of various sized silver spoons. From the top left, a clock made of small, metallic gold wooden spoons points out the time. Across the green are other spoon-clock-like forms in various stages of disassembly and completion. The edges of the quilt are unfinished and raw, internal batting and structure is visible.

Image Description: Background is 20”x20” quilted fabric in marbled bronze, beige, and gold patterning. In the centre of this is a white piece of fabric appliquéd to the background. This displays an embroidery of a mature Tobacco plant. Wide, smooth green leaves fold around a central stem, curving upwards. At the top of the plant is a small corona of delicate purple flowers.

A rectangular wooden frame (1.5x2') is painted in a whitewash, the blonde woodgrain visible through the streaky white paint. Inside the frame, a fabric photograph of a living room is embroidered, quilted, and bordered in white lace trim. The room is lit by a wall of tall windows dressed in lacy white curtains and a soft blue draped valance, underneath it all is ultramarine blue wall to wall carpet. Thick, white stitching outlines the room items - curtains, white sofa set, dark wood side tables, and beige and brown table lamps. Thinner, more transparent white thread is stitched onto empty walls, table tops, and blank floor spaces, this second set of items represent fixtures (a stack of CDs, picture frames, potted plants on wooden stands) present in the artists memory that were in the room during their grandmother's life but have been removed since her passing.

On a light brown wood table, 4'x5.5' across, a hand and machine tufted rug lays flat in the center. The rug is approximately 3' x 4.5' made of a background of ultramarine yarn, with two pearlescent white V-shapes in - the top left and bottom right corners, besde soft blue squiggles. In the centre, bottom left and upper right are sets of three dots in varying colours including: neon yellow, various greens and shades of rose/bronze/brown. These shapes reference the fixtures found in the photograph and living room above.
