There are scattered patches of #kente style cloth cut in squares, rectangles, and triangles appliquéd on top of the green background. There are three clocks made of small wooden spoons painted gold. The first, top-center-left, contains all 12 hours and is set to 9 o'clock. The 2nd, bottom left is set to 1:14 and is missing the hours 3, 5, 10, 11. The third, bottom right, is set to 10:38 and is missing the hours 11, 12, 3, 4, 5, 8. In the center of the left and right edges, half circles of gold spoons fan out toward the middle. In the upper right corner, 5 spoons are placed in a tight diamond formation, some point towards the center and some point away. Along the bottom, a brown ribbon with images of silver spoons in various sizes. The piece is quilted with long diagonal lines and intersecting circles.] </image:caption>

Inside the frame, a fabric photograph of a living room is embroidered, quilted, and bordered in white lace trim. The room is lit by a wall of tall windows dressed in lacy white curtains and a soft blue draped valance, underneath it all is ultramarine blue wall to wall carpet. Thick, white stitching outlines the room items - curtains, white sofa set, dark wood side tables, and beige and brown table lamps. Thinner, more transparent white thread is stitched onto empty walls, table tops, and blank floor spaces, this second set of items represent fixtures (a stack of CDs, picture frames, potted plants on wooden stands) present in the artists memory that were in the room during their grandmother's life but have been removed since her passing.</image:caption>
